When Apple introduced the MacBook back in 2006, there were the world, an Apple laptop, it would soon become the company's most popular model. In fact, Apple MacBook makes that the best-selling computer in the company's history, no small achievement. So it stands to reason that Apple is now the low-end would-be model, a major makeover for the upcoming holiday season.

When the new MacBook and its predecessor seat next to each other, you will immediately notice some minoraesthetic differences. The new model is a monocoque construction) (polycarbonate, so there is no "touch of gray" than the previous model. As a result, the new MacBook is really, really … white. We're talking Barry Manilow know. The new MacBook Unibody also, as one would expect fewer screws thanks to the new construction.

Another important difference is the new glass Multi-Touch trackpad, offering support gesture. As with any significant change, it might take a little getting used to,but if you do, then you can see why Apple so much of its budget on research and development of other relatively minor changes include a small power button, solid and quiet keys on the keyboard, and a round of spending (as opposed to place unlike iSight) hole.

During the 13.3-inch display has the same resolution 1280 x 800, than its predecessor, the Unibody MacBook with LED-backlit display, see how the ads on the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which results in a much brighter outcome.

If you are a fan of the Apple Remote(They are not likely), then you're excited because it is missing. FireWire has also disappeared, although the absence of the low-end model is more than forgivable previous omission of the Apple interface, which they themselves invented. The display connector is a mini DisplayPort, because, unlike the mini-DVI port it replaced. Also missing in action is the lack of an SD slot, curious, since the MacBook is targeted at consumers in the first place. There is also a single audio port that shares analog and digital outputand are heading to other ports, the MagSafe, USB 2.0 (x 2), Gigabit Ethernet, and a Kensington slot. Nursing Standard is an 8x SuperDrive.

Another important change is to the bottom of the machine, and it is required, both admirers and critics. The underside of the new MacBook does not have the traditional padded feet. In fact, it does not feet, largely because the entire surface is just a big rubber foot itself. So, gone is the ease of RAM and hard drive upgrade, which was partthe MacBook experience from the beginning if you can decrease the soil and replace it if necessary, they are still changeable by the user. However, the new floor must be secured much less prone to slipping. There are no user-replaceable battery, but you get a much improved battery life, so there are a lot of trade-offs involved.

The new MacBook is still an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, now at 2.26. The RAM cover is still set to 4GB. Bummer. In terms of graphics, which still unibody MacBookuses the Nvidia GeForce 9400M, that the stock 256 MB of RAM with the main system memory. Please note, however, that the new MacBook supports 1066MHz DDR3 RAM that is faster than 800 MHz DDR2 RAM in the previous model.

After the new MacBook made for a quick run through, we can say that Apple will be) the target group (consumers and students, probably with the new MacBook Unibody be satisfied. If you are the extensibility of FireWire, faster graphics, more RAM and an SD slot, then you willhaving to fork out an additional $ 200 for a 13.3-inch MacBook Pro. However, the sub-$ 1000 price is very attractive and probably making the MacBook one of the best-selling Apple machines for some time to come.
